RÍO SENEGAL: El río Senegal es un Río de África. Tiene 1790 Km de longitud. Nace en Guinea, en la Meseta de Fouta Djalon, con el nombre de río Bafing. Después de unirse el Bafing con el río Baoulé, es cuando recibe el nombre de Senegal.
Desemboca en el océano Atlántico, junto a la ciudad de Saint Louis, formando un delta irregular con numerosas marismas e islas. Solo es navegable en su curso bajo ya que presenta rápidos en su curso alto.
